Sumeet Bhardwaj DO

Dr. Bhardwaj is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) graduate who supports Interwoven Clinical Services through health and medical education. He helps clients understand the connection between physical and mental health, general wellness, common medical concepts, and psychiatric medications. He may also participate in psychoeducational groups and help clients prepare informed questions for their treating healthcare providers.
As a first-generation American raised by Indian immigrant parents, Sumeet brings an appreciation for culture, family, and identity to his work. He is Punjabi and the second child in his family. His experiences inform his commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive, whole-person care.
Sumeet’s role in California and Pennsylvania is educational and non-clinical; he does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical treatment in those states. In New York, his psychiatric and medical services—including consultations and medication management—are provided within the scope of his licensure and required supervision.
Jam Macabugao is a Filipino American mental health professional whose cultural background, lived experiences, education, and clinical training have shaped her commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and whole-person care. Born in Texas and raised in California, Jam has also lived in Hawai‘i and Samoa, experiences that broadened her understanding and appreciation of the ways culture, community, family, identity, and tradition can influence mental health and healing. As a former Hawaiian dancer, Jam also developed a meaningful connection to cultural expression, storytelling, movement, and community. Throughout her personal and professional journey, Jam has worked with and built meaningful connections across Filipino and other Asian, Hispanic/Latino, Polynesian, and Pacific Islander communities. These experiences contribute to her ability to approach clients with cultural humility and an appreciation for the unique values, traditions, family systems, and lived experiences they bring into the therapeutic space.
Education & Clinical Background
Jam holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, is still a counselor-in-training, and is currently pursuing her PhD, continuing to expand her clinical knowledge, research interests, and professional development. Her behavioral health background includes experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders (SUD), personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and a range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. She also has experience facilitating therapeutic groups, helping create supportive environments where individuals can develop insight, strengthen coping skills, build connections, and work toward recovery and greater well-being. Jam additionally has a professional background as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with past experience providing services under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Her past experience in behavioral services strengthened her skills in behavioral observation, implementation of evidence-based interventions, skill development, data-informed care, and individualized support for people with diverse behavioral and developmental needs.
Anna Maldonado, MSCP, LPCC/LPC, is a psychotherapist who provides compassionate, culturally responsive clinical psychotherapy and counseling services in both English and Spanish to individuals, couples, and families.
As a first-generation American and the oldest daughter of parents from Mexico, Anna proudly identifies as Mexican Indigenous—Purépecha—and American. She was born and raised in Southern California before moving to Meadville, Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Allegheny College. She later earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After completing her master’s degree, she returned to California to pursue a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology.
Throughout more than five years of experience in the mental health field, Anna has worked in a domestic violence shelter, private practice, an inpatient child psychiatric facility, and a crisis intervention facility. Her professional background also includes providing telephone-based support, school-based mental health services, and in-home mental health services. These experiences have allowed her to support clients from diverse backgrounds across a variety of clinical and community settings.
Anna’s clinical experience includes couples therapy, sex therapy, child therapy, trauma therapy, and family therapy. Her approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and focused on each client’s unique experiences, strengths, identities, and goals. She integrates approaches such as the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
